Hello, and welcome to my blog series! My name is Jenny. I am a married, twenty-something, mom of three boys just trying to understand God's plans for me and my family. This blog series is about the different stages of life as my family and I live them - of course, I hope to write over the course of our lives as we experience each new chapter.

I am a Chicagoland native and I LOVE my city! I have an obvious Chi-kaa-go accent, I root for my local teams, and I love all that is Chicago, except Chicago dogs and deep dish pizza, cliche, I know.

I went to college 12 miles outside of Chicago and met my wonderful husband there. We got engaged in 2012 at Millennium Park and almost 9 months later, we got married in south-central Indiana. We braved many new experiences together, such as starting our careers, living on our own, and moving away from family for a year, but now we have found our way back to my husband's hometown in south-central Indiana where we bought a house, welcomed our three children, and hope to stay.

God is number one in our house, and family is very important too. Our roots can be traced all over the world, but through Christ, we all remain one. Come along for the ride, we can always learn together.
